President -- Randy Bishop

Randy Bishop has served as the New Jersey
Stonewall Democrats Executive Vice President since 2006. Randy was elected to the Neptune Township
Committee in November, 2004 and re-elected to his second term in 2007.
In 2008 Randy served as Mayor of Neptune Township, the third openly
gay mayor in NJ state history. Today he remains an active
Township Committeeman, serving his third term as Neptune Township Police
Commissioner. Randy has a broad range of experience in both the
public and private sector as well as in many volunteer organizations. Born in Hampton, VA, Randy attended Boston
University where he studied Political Science specializing in International
Relations. He accepted a position on the staff of the late Congressman
Floyd Fithian (D-IN) and later worked for Congressman Jim Slattery (D-KS).
After his time on Capitol Hill he joined a small software firm, VM Software,
as an Assistant Office Manager. He later became their first Telecommunications
Manager and helped in their worldwide expansion and transition from
a private to a publicly traded company. He moved on to AT&T as a
technical sales consultant to the Federal Reserve Banking System. In November 1995, Randy decided to leave
AT&T and pursue his dream of owning and operating a bed and breakfast.
He and his partner, Dan Margo, purchased and refurbished The Melrose
in the historic seashore community of Ocean Grove, NJ. Randy and Dan, his partner of 16 years,
were joined in a Civil Union 21 February 2007. Randy and Dan also own
Peter Wallace, LTD, an antiques business in Lambertville, NJ.
Executive Vice President – Ed Zipprich

Ed Zipprich was elected to the Red Bank
Council in November, 2008, after narrowly losing a previous bid in 2007.
He is the first openly gay member elected to the Red Bank Council and
was nationally endorsed by the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund, Washington,
DC in both races as well as Democracy for America. Zipprich has been
actively involved in Democratic politics since 1985, first in New York
City and more recently in New Jersey. After working on the Dean for
America presidential campaign in 2004, he continued his involvement
with Dean's Democracy for America organization and is currently the
Monmouth County chair of Monmouth DFA/PDA. He was elected to the Executive
Board of Democracy for America - New Jersey in 2008. Ed is Treasurer of the Red Bank Borough
Education Foundation and served on the Red Bank Planning Board through
2008. Ed also serves as Treasurer of the Red Bank Democratic Club. Centennial
committees. He has been appointed to the Monmouth County Transportation
Council. He is an active member of the Executive Board of New Jersey
Stonewall Democrats. Born in Staten Island, NY Ed attended
Brockport State College where he studied Communications and attended
the Lubin School of Business, Pace University. Zipprich was a business
operations manager for international law firms in NYC. Ed is the proud
father of a daughter who is finishing her junior year at Wellesley College.
He and his partner, JP, have lived together in Red Bank for almost 14
years.
Vice President of Legislative and
Political Affairs – Ann Baker

Ann Baker has been an active member of
New Jersey Stonewall Democrats since 2006 and has served as the chair
of the Membership Committee since early 2007 and the Vice President
of Legislative and Political Affairs since 2008. In that capacity, she
registered the NJSD Continuing Political Committee with the Election
Law Enforcement Commission enabling the organization to make political
endorsements of New Jersey pro-equality state, county, and local candidates. She has been involved in social and ppolitical
action for more than 40 years and served as the lobbyist for the National
Organization for Women of New Jersey for 6 years. Ann is currently the
Democratic Municipal Chair in the Borough of Roosevelt, serves on the
Monmouth County Democratic Committee, and has been appointed by the
Monmouth County Freeholders to the county Environmental Council. She
and her partner, Carol Watchler of 37 years, have lived in Roosevelt
for 31 years. An Ohioan by birth, she graduated from Youngstown University
and did graduate work at Princeton Theological Seminary.
Vice President of
Development – Amy Quinn

Amy Quinn has lived in Asbury Park for
the last eight years. She graduated from John Jay University in 2000,
and graduated from New York Law School in 2005. Currently she is an
attorney for the Community Health Law Project in Eatontown. The Law
Project assists people who are disabled and poor, representing people
in a wide range of matters: social security, public entitlements, landlord/tenant,
and discrimination matters. Amy approached NJSD when she was running for the Municipal Council in
Asbury Park, and has been an active member of NJSD for the last year.
She is a member of the Asbury Park Environment and Shade Tree Commission,
Asbury Park's NAACP, and the Asbury Park Sustainability Committee.
Secretary – Bob Koska

Bob joined NJSD soon after it was founded
in 2000, and has previously served as Vice President for Development
and as the Treasurer since 2006. He also served on the original By-Laws
Subcommittee for the organization. Bob started his community involvement
in the early 1970s when he was appointed the youth representative to
the Jersey City Model Cities Program, and later served as a Democratic
District Committeeman in Hudson County for a number of years. He received a B.A. from Rutgers University
and a Masters in Planning and Policy Development from the University
of Iowa. Currently Bob resides in Piscataway in Middlesex County. He is
a lifelong resident of New Jersey.
Treasurer - Steve Alterman

Steve is the retired V-P of Israel Discount
Bank. He is a graduate of Pace University in Accounting and Finance,
and currently resides in the Iselin section of Woodbridge, NJ. Currently serving on the Boards of the
