Dear Friends,

You've read a lot of press and e-mails regarding the Decision yesterday. Some call it a Victory some call it something less. I'll leave that up to our attorneys and pundits.

You know I'm not getting into an argument about the labels, but the fact is this is an opportunity for us to be proactive, to flex our muscles and work intelligently to motivate every single Democrat in the legislature and in the legislative leadership.

We can partner with the PR organizations and all the hype, but we will be ready for the nitty-gritty. I do want to make a couple of things clear...

  1. The only currency, the only word that is understood in our culture is "marriage"! That is our goal! We will work to achieve 100% Marriage Equality!

  2. Our mantra is "Separate is not equal."

  3. RIGHT NOW we must go out and elect Democrats ... Senator Menendez, and all our congressional candidates! We must show our muscle in the Democratic Party electorate NOW! What we do in this election will have an impact on how we can flex our muscle in influencing Democratic legislators when the Marriage bill comes up.

  4. We also have the TransEquality bill A930/S362 poised to passage, we cannot turn our backs on our trans brothers and sisters.

  5. GOTV- Get Out The Vote! we'll meet at a Victory Party TBA
